WTA professional Sloane Stephens has been on the circuit for over thirteen years. In this video she shares her perspective on mental health and maintaining self care. These insights are broadly applicable to both male and female athletes whether participating in high school, college, semi pro, professional or club championships. When sport engagement overly defines an athlete whether through media, fans, family expectations, the athlete can become caught up in that persona.
